Build/Release Engineer

This role is responsible for creating and maintaining build, release, and deployment pipelines across our technology stacks for automation. This includes working with skilled Oracle engineers on automation of builds for WebLogic Middleware, Oracle Database deployments with Redgate and similar tasks. It also includes building pipelines for future cloud native solutions involving container images and Kubernetes. You will help us implement DevOps processes, by leading our journey into the cloud and strengthening our CI/CD.
This position can be based in Bulgaria, Germany or Denmark and we do offer flexible Home Office options. 

Your responsibilities:

• Managing the release of our products in time and quality.
• Creating and maintaining pipelines for build, release, and deployment.
• Automating as many steps as possible in the development process flow and creating self-services.
• Working closely together with both developers, infrastructure, and operations in DevOps spirit.
• Managing software configuration, build systems and CI/CD tools.

• Track record in automating and managing complex, automated build and deployment pipelines.
• Experienced in software configuration management tools such as SVN, Git, Gerrit, build systems such as Ant, Ivy, Maven, Gradle, continuous integration systems such as Bamboo, Jenkins and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell.
• Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus: Java EE application servers (WebLogic, Tomcat, WildFly), Oracle DB, Oracle ADF, PL/SQL, Java and Groovy, Docker, Kubernetes.
