As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will work with DXC customers on projects to help them transform their businesses. You will provide consultative services by leveraging your technical capabilities, in an Agile operating model, to help
DXC customers solve their Azure Cloud business needs. You will lead customer engagements and work with DXC account and client representatives, and technical experts to deploy solutions via Azure Cloud. You will also work closely with
other Azure Cloud Support Teams and Azure offering group within DXC to manage engagement programs, provide consulting advisory/consulting services, technical guidance, and best practice expertise.



To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience working with Cloud technologies, and a diverse background in Cloud solutions covering Cloud migration, IaaS and PaaS development, big data and analytics. You will serve
as the Technical Lead for customer workshops, use case demonstrations, develop proof-of-concept (POC) and deliver small project services or NSSRs in a variety of areas including, but not limited to, infrastructure migration,
developing customer solutions such as Web applications, Networking, Enterprise Applications, Security, IAM, Batch Processing, Disaster Recovery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Science Technical degree required; Master in Computer Science (or similar technical background) preferred


• Experience in architecting, developing and/or maintaining solutions in the Azure Cloud Platform


• Experience in an account management, client service and/or management consulting role


• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; the ability to think strategical about business and technical challenges


• Deep technical and analytical skills, possessing 2 or more years of IT implementation experience


• Hands-on experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software


• Experience reading/writing software code in one or more language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, bash


• Experience with software development life cycle (CI/CD pipeline) and Agile methodologies


• Experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Jenkins and DevOps technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience leading Cloud transformation projects


• Ability to work with DXC partners, system integrators and 3rd-party developers to deliver effective customer solutions


• Ability to work in a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team with a continuously evolving delivery framework.


• Strong track record of implementing Azure (or other Cloud) services in a variety of distributed computing environments


• Experience partnering with customers to manage and deliver successful migrations to public Cloud solutions


• Integration of Azure Cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.

Certifications:

• Azure Cloud Architect Certification or Certified Azure Administrator


• AWS or Google Cloud Architect/Administrator certifications


• Nice to have: DevOps certification, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Networking, Security Cloud Certifications
