Senior Front-End Developer (Avoka)

We are KBC TIME Centre, part of KBC Global Services - Bulgaria branch and we operate in Bulgaria since 2019.
Our main business is focused on development, implementation and maintenance of core banking system for our clients within KBC Group.
Оnly 3 years were needed for us to achieve great results and to become the first Certified Client Centre of Excellence of our software vendor Temenos.

Responsibilities:
• Leading the process of configuration, parameterization, maintenance and development of Avoka;
• Solving problems arising during the operation of the systems
• Participation in integration and performance tests as well as in the installation of new modules.
• Provides recommendations for the technological realization of the assignment, achieving the ultimate goal.
• Responsible for the maintenance and updating of local developments for the bank by functional specification.
• Participates in the drafting of technical specifications.
Technologies used:
• HTML5/JavaScript/AngularJS/Bootstrap/Velocity templates
• Mobile application design experience
• Exposure to JavaEE and third party APIs
• JavaEE Application Server experience (preferably JBOSS)
• XML skills, including XSLT, XSD, XPath, XQuery etc.
• SOAP and REST Web Services consumption using JavaEE and Groovy
• Build and config mgmt tools such as Ant, Maven
Requirements:
• HTML, CSS
• Browser de-bugging skills
• Source control, versioning knowledge
• JavaScript working knowledge (scripting)
• Writing expressions or macros knowledge
• Data format understanding JSON and XML
• Avoka Transact Qualified Front End Builder Certified
• AngularJS/jQuery knowledge a plus
• Knowledge of CX/UX design
• Web page design background (1-2 years minimum, 3-4 preferred)
• Page layout / design experience (1-2 years minimum, 3-4 preferred)
• Understanding of basic banking business products and processes
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Result-oriented professional able to keep strict deadlines
• Strong analytical skills
• Masters degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering
