Our client is one of the leading German IT security consultancies, with more than 25 years of experience in helping organisations in the public and private domain with guarding their informational infrastructure and reaching the highest security standards on the market. They're specialising in providing a 360° solution - from implementing security products and services (Cisco, Check Point, SOPHOS, tenable, BitSight, RSA, Draccon etc.) matching their clients' needs, to analysing and identification of existing threats, protection and eliminating known forms of cyber-attacks and developing a strategy for more sustainable and secured IT infrastructure.
They are now building a small operational centre in Bulgaria, aiming to support their Vulnerability & Threat Management team in Germany and are looking to attract a
Senior Cyber Security Consultant (Pentests)
Responsibilities:
• Assess existing risks in the client’s infrastructure;
• Carry out assigned pentests and projects to complete in a timely manner;
• Engage in the content design of the assigned projects (even in the pre-sales);
• Analyse the existing risks and vulnerabilities on the clients' side;
• Assess the security infrastructure of the client and suggest well-suited solutions to improve its systems;
Requirements:
• University degree in Computer Sciences or Networking
• At least 5 years of working experience in the field of security testing (pentest)
• Excellent understanding of cybersecurity components (Endpoints, Firewalls, VPN, Proxies, DNS, Active Directory, etc)
• Sound knowledge of operating systems and network protocols
• Basic knowledge in scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Python, Perl or PHP;
• Any relevant certification would be a plus;
• Fluent English;
• Fluent German would be an advantage.
