What you'll do as Security Engineer

• Responsible for day to day operation and monitoring of Mansion’s Network and Security infrastructure.


• Responsible for management and monitoring of Mansion’s Data Leakage Prevention infrastructure.


• Monitors information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities; develops monitoring and visibility capabilities; reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends.


• Responds to information system security incidents, including investigation of, countermeasures to, and recovery from computer-based attacks, unauthorized access, and policy breaches; interacts and coordinates with third-party incident responders, including law enforcement and internal Incident Management policies.


• Partner with development teams to integrate security controls into continuous integration, delivery and deployment processes (baking security into the infrastructure).


• Develop procedures to automate security tasks during code builds and deployments.


• Report unresolved security exposures, misuse of resources, and noncompliance situations using defined escalation processes.


• Out of hours availability for 3rd level Escalation of production issues per the Escalation Policy

What we are looking for..

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience


• Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer


• Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc


• Well-rounded background in host, network and application security including knowledge of internet security issues and threat landscape


• Effective understanding of DLP systems


• Demonstrated tolerance to high workloads and multiple changing priorities.


• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and issues at all levels.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills.


• Ability to work in flexible times outside normal working hours and during peak periods as required.

It's awesome but not mandatory if you also have

• Computer Science/IT related university degree


• Source code management tools such as BitBucket, GitLab, etc


• Continuous integration tools like Jenkings, Bamboo, etc


• Cisco CCNP or CCNA or CCSP


• Junos JCIA, JNCIS or JNCIP
