Salesforce Delivery Lead


We are looking for a motivated Salesforce Delivery Lead to be responsible for all of the delivery of newly-built Salesforce sprints and projects team. The role includes Salesforce hands-on tasks, as well as overseeing the delivery processes across all domains and Salesforce environment, Tier 1 support and Admin tasks.



Core Responsibilities and day to day activities:



  • Perform project management tasks such as: creation and management of project plans, budgets, change requests, issue identification, and resolution

  • Provide input to clients around project goals, risks, timelines, and resources throughout the engagement

  • Work closely with team members on a project basis to ensure quality, completeness, and timeliness of all tasks

  • Facilitate team meetings to achieve the right outcomes in line with the client’s preferred delivery method, including the use of Agile delivery practices where appropriate

  • Demonstrate versatility and work within the governance model and delivery methodologies of our clients – this includes the creation of artefacts and adherence to their processes and project plans

  • Manage and delivery owner of resources (internal and external)

  • Disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery

  • Interface with various departments in the organization including Marketing, Partners, Sales, CS, Finance, BP, Delivery, and Support

  • Disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery

  • Ensure that Software Development Methodologies in design and build are consistently implemented and tracked with appropriate metrics


Main requirements:



  • At least 4+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Salesforce applications and developing CRM solutions with a clear understanding of the Salesforce platform capabilities, limits, and latest technology offerings, having a clear understanding of security, scalability, and maintainability of solution design and development needs

  • Experience managing at least three (3) professional services resources either onshore or offshore. Managing Salesforce implementation resources (internal and/or consultants) is a definite plus

  • Demonstrable experience with Agile projects including the adoption of Agile methods both inside and outside of software teams

  • Strong desire to work both in design and in 'hands-on' implementation modes in the delivery of solutions

  • Excellent communication skills that can span all levels of the business and are relevant, appropriate, and timely

  • Focused on achieving outcomes with high levels of initiative and drive

  • Exceptional client service skills; an active listener who is able to provide clarity and solve the right problems

  • A team player who builds relationships based on trust and can work cooperatively

  • Salesforce certifications – an advantage
