Our current client is a Swiss financial and accounting company with newly registered entity in Bulgaria and ambition to rapidly grow its local back-office operations. On their behalf, we are actively looking for Junior/Senior Accountants with English or German language to join and grow within their Varna team.


Responsibilities:



  • Booking documents for accounts receivable and accounts payable;

  • Register accounting operations, update and maintain the general ledger;

  • Draw up primary and secondary accounting documents and balance sheet;

  • Preparation of various monthly, quarterly, annual reports for the needs of the company;

  • Perform interim and annual closure of accounting records;

  • Maintain an accurate record of the Company financial transactions;

  • Preparation of detailed statistics reports;

  • Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers;

  • Supervise the financial operations of each client in order to ensure their accounting compliance;

  • Liaise with auditors and facilitate a smooth and timely audit process for all clients;

  • High level of confidentiality regarding all accounting information;

  • Work on other tasks set by the Senior Accountant or company management.



Requirements:



  • University degree or 4th-year student in Accounting/Finance or similar;

  • Experience in the Accounting area would be considered as an advantage;

  • Fluency in English or German language;

  • MS-Office skills and advanced knowledge of MS-Excel;

  • Highly detail-oriented and organized;

  • Ability to meet deadlines;

  • Team player with good personal values.
