ROLE OF THE POSITION
We are seeking for a highly-driven, analytical and creative professional for the Head of Accounting, Slovakia. This position will be responsible for the overall accounting activities of the Slovakian and Romanian portfolio that includes 32 legal entities.

ROLE OF THE POSITION
We are seeking for a highly-driven, analytical and creative professional for the Head of Accounting, Slovakia. This position will be responsible for the overall accounting activities of the Slovakian and Romanian portfolio that includes 32 legal entities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading full month end accounting close for 32 legal entities, including reconciliations for all major balances
- Managing a team of Slovakian accountants (2).
- Preparation of the monthly and quarterly business review; which includes preparation of financial information and KPIs and involves close coordination with the operations team
- Prepare annual budget and quarterly reforecasts and input them into the system and first draft presentation to the management
- Prepare Cash Flow Forecast for all operating entities and managing distributions
- Managing quarterly reporting for the Slovakian companies and dealing with entity auditors (yearly audit)
- Leading outside statutory accountants for preparation of local GAAP financial statements and other statutory reports
- Prepare ratio calculations required under the debt agreements
- Ensuring a strong internal control environment for the Slovakian assets and compliance with the internal control activities
- Booking of group ledger only entries in SAP
- Ensuring compliance with Group policies
- Ensuring vendors are paid in a timely manner
- Any other ad hoc tasks, as required by the CFO Italy, Slovakia & Romania Solar or other management
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other relevant
- Proficiency in English
- IFRS expertise and GAAP (preferred but not essential)
- SAP experience essential, BPC experience preferred
- Knowledge of strong internal control environment
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Minimum 5 years of proven financial and accounting experience.
- Experience in an international business environment or within an international group is required.
Travel Requirements - upon business needs.
This position reports hierarchically to CFO Italy, Slovakia & Romania Solar.
