Fiber Optics Design Engineer - REMOTE
Responsibilities:
• Plan optical fibre paths and produce design packs
• High Level Design (HLD) & Low Level Design (LLD) Packs
• Produce Straight Line Diagrams (SLD)
• Splice Sheets/Fibre Node Configurator (FNC)
• Produce Bill of Materials (BOM) & Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Work with field surveyors
• Provide design package support to other team members
• Data modelling, building GIS solutions
Requirements:
• University degree in telecommunications or engineering
• Extensive experience in planning FTTH networks
• Experience with network design packages (QGIS, AutoCAD, etc)
• Strong administration/documentation skills
• Ability to integrate into a small but ambitious team
• Proficient computer literacy skills in Microsoft applications
• Fluent English
