Credit Risk Model Validator/Data Analyst

We are KBC TIME Centre, part of KBC Global Services - Bulgaria branch and we operate in Bulgaria since 2019.
Our main business is focused on development, implementation and maintenance of core banking system for our clients within KBC Group.
Оnly 3 years were needed for us to achieve great results and to become the first Certified Client Centre of Excellence of our software vendor Temenos.

Main responsibilities:
• You will perform an independent assessment of the model;
• Based on a qualitative and quantitative analysis, you will provide an independent advice to Chief Risk officers and Chief Financial officers;
• You will contribute to methodological discussions at KBC Group level.
Requirements:
Educational background:
Have a master’s degree or PhD in (applied) sciences such as mathematical economics, mathematics, physics, statistics, engineering.
Technical skills:
• Have good programming skills (a.o. Python, SAS, Matlab, R) and know how to work with large databases.
Non-Technical Skills:
• Fluent communication in written and spoken English;
• Able to translate complex material into well-structured and simple conclusions, while respecting deadlines;
• Team player;
• Eagerness to acquire and to share knowledge.
