We are currently looking for a
Business Development Application Engineer, Sofia
Ewellix opened its newest and most modern manufacturing facility in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2020. In Sofia our main products are telescopic pillars and actuators for industries within medical, automation and material handling. With 90 employees today and with the target to have 150 employees by the end of the year, we are thrilled to develop an outstanding team of professionals in Bulgaria to join our multinational family.
What you will do:
You will contribute to the company’s overall goals and strategy by delivering on following main responsibilities:
• Manage projects for standard and customized linear actuator, pillar and linear guiding products;
• Act as a coordinating figure between the manufacturing unit, product development department and existing sales network;
• Interpret the specific requests by the sales units, together with the needs, expectations and limitations of the specific project;
• Ensure successful project delivery and implementation by creating detailed plans and schedules, together with execution program and necessary resources;
• Maintain a trough understanding of the product development and/or customization cycle, in order to provide up-to-date conclusions and updated to the sales units;
• Stay in permanent contact with Sales units and customers;
• Analyze customer requests and make recommendations for products and the correct application thereof;
• Interpret non-standard projets (design, calculations, CAD, ERP, etc.) ;
• Coordinate customer projects with internal teams to ensure a timely delivery;
• Organize and support trainings on Linear Motion and Actuation solutions;
• Present the product portfolio and capabilities of the company;
• Travel worldwide on customer sites to support sales.
Who you are
To be successful in this role you need the following qualification:
• Background in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering - Project management experience and/or experience of working on foreign markets will be considered as significant advantage;
• Fluent in English with proven communication skills – Second foreign language is not obligatory, but will be an advantage;
• Organizational skills – ability to prioritize tasks, manage workflow and work with multiple stakeholders;
• Problem solving ability/attitude – understanding of customer requests and ability to interpret them to the product development teams in order to find appropriate solutions;
• Communication skills - outline project deliverables, understand problems and convey effective workarounds to members of the team to ensure the project continues as intended;
• Attention to detail – managing multiple tasks shall not compromise on the attention to the details;
• Commercial awareness – consideration of the specific commercial aspect of a project, as well as the variables which could influence the specific outcomes;
• Good knowledge of technical product engineering;
• Experience in the Medical/Automation/Automotive markets will be considered as advantage;
• Experience of working with ERP systems such as Movex (Infor M3), SAP or similar;
Willingness and ability to travel.
