Payslip is recruiting an enthusiastic, organized, diligent Accountant to work in our growing Finance team.

Accountant

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role encompasses internal financial control and requires adherence to a strong internal financial control environment and ensuring that deliverables are accurate and submitted on a timely basis. Key deliverables will cut across Financial Control, Financial Accounting, Statutory Reporting, Taxation, and Project work across our European and US entities

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing customer sales invoices and sending them to customers


• Issuing debtor statements and following up on late payments with customers and internal stakeholders


• Processing purchase invoices


• Setting up bank payments and transfers


• Recording bank transactions in the accounting system and preparing month-end reconciliations


• Preparing quarterly supplier reconciliations


• Arranging set up of documents for e-signing


• Assisting with other accounting/administrative tasks as required

Skills And Qualifications

• A qualified accountant with 2+ years of experience


• Highly motivated and ambitious


• Excellent technical skills with a strong desire to learn and develop their career


• English Speaking with good communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of the team


• Organized and deadline-driven


• Proficient with MS Office particularly Excel


• Xero accounting system experience an advantage
